Shy of 3
Will. Hi. It’s me your mom.
I can’t believe you’re almost three! How?! I just have to start off with saying how undeniably cute and sweet you are. Someone once told me you are the cutest toddler they’ve ever seen. I couldn’t agree more. Cute is and understatement, you’re stunning. Those big brown puppy eyes, eyelashes longer than any I’ve ever seen, amazing hair and the dimples. You’re quite the package. Okay okay yes you’re a cutie we get it, but you’re also the sweetest little guy. You’ve been such an easy two year old. Yes you have your moments, but 99% of the time you’re such a joy to be around. You speak like a four year old and understand like a 90 year old. You get emotions, sarcasm and humor. You love fiercely, you’re opinionated and enjoy the finer things in life. When ever someone asks what you’re in to, expecting like dinosaurs, Bluey, you know the typical 2 year old stuff. We always say he likes to be wined and dined. You love going to restaurants with us, it’s probably your favorite. Speaking of food, you’re definitely a breakfast kind of guy. You have at least three meals before ten o clock rolls around. It’s quite impressive. You are extremely independent which we’re very supportive of but also gets a little annoying sometimes. You want to do everything by yourself. Heaven bless whoever flushes your poop for you on accident. Speaking of poop, you’re potty trained now. You’re amazing at it 99% or the time. I’m honestly beyond proud of you. We are currently on a spontaneous road trip to Disneyland. You’ve been asking us to go for the past few months. We’ve been introducing you to the classics and you’ve been eating them up. Your current favorites are Snow White and Moana. You’ve been so good on this trip! Not a single protest, fit thrown, nothing: thanks will. You’ve been quite pleasant and have made us fall us even more in love with you. By the way we love you very much. You know that?😉 I can’t wait to see you tomorrow at Disney! You’re gonna love it.
You got a new brother this past year. Sweet Carter. You weren’t as obsessed as we thought you’d be but you also weren’t bothered as much as we thought you would be. In true Will fashion you were pretty chill about the whole thing because that’s how you are, pretty dang chill like your dad. You are so understanding we need to help Carter with something. Patience is definitely one of your virtues. I can’t wait to watch you two grow up together. I think you’ll always be his big protector and he’ll look up to you so much. I can’t think of a better brother for Carter than you.
Other things I don’t want to forget about you at this age, your love for the Grinch. During Christmas time you watched it everyday and when you woke up sick on Christmas we spent the whole day watching it. You have a soft spot for the grinch. Even though your dad might have ruined him for you when he dresses up as the grinch and scared the schnitzel out of you!
You are the first to raise your hand to say the prayers and you say the best and longest prayers.
You have the sweetest little voice and the best singing voice! You have amazing pitch and love love to listen to all kinds of music and sing along. You’re currently taking a music class but play cool while you’re there. Those fools have no idea what a great voice you have.
I absolutely love you will and can’t imagine life without you!!
Xoxo Mom
